GLOBAL PRAYER DAY TO
END MODERN SLAVERY

What is Global Prayer Day?

Each year on Black Friday, Empowerment Collective, a 100% survivor-led organization dedicated to ending modern slavery, invites people of all faiths, paths, and spiritual traditions to unite in a Global Open-Faith Prayer — a shared moment of reflection, compassion, and collective action to End Modern Slavery Now!

2025 marked our first annual Global Open-Faith Prayer. We came together on Black Friday, a day that has come to symbolize unconscious consumption, a cycle that steals human dignity and harms our planet. In 2025 alone, Cyber Monday online sales hit a record $14.25 billion , the largest ever, while Black Friday reached $11.8 billion, up 9.1% YoY.

We invite you to transform this day, saturated with the unconscious consumption of human suffering veiled within supply chains, into one of conscious connection by becoming a conscious consumer, protecting both human dignity and our planet.

Prayer is the universal language of deeper connection and compassion. Together, we hold a powerful intention: to demand mandatory supply chain transparency labeling for all products within global economic and trade systems — ensuring every product tells the truth about how it was made and who made it.

Most importantly, today we remember the 50 million people still invisible within our global system, whose dignity has been stolen by greed, control, and lack of transparency.

May this day of overconsumption become one of conscious intention, where we all choose with clarity, transparency, and accountability.

All funds generated from ticket donations go to support the survivor and grassroots leaders you will hear from at the event and their projects bringing deeply rooted impacts to communities facing modern slavery.
